EXTENDED WARRANTY

OPTICAL CABLE CORPORATION, hereinafter known as "OCC" warrants the fiber optic cable(s) delivered per Warranty Registration Number 0000 hereunder to be free from defects in material and workmanship, and to conform to current OCC specifications at the time of sale. Purchaser shall have a period of fifteen (15) years from date of shipment (00/00/00) to return defective items to OCC for correction.

OCC agrees to repair or replace at the place of manufacture, without additional charge, or provide a credit for all fiber optic cable(s) returned under a factory-issued Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, transportation prepaid, for inspection at OCC's factory within the warranty period, provided that: (1) the item(s) returned shall only be accepted if a written statement has been sent to OCC setting forth the nature and suspected cause of the alleged deficiencies; (2) such inspection discloses to the satisfaction of OCC that the defects are as above specified; (3) the material has not been subjected to misuse, improper installation, negligence, or shipping damage; (4) OCC was given the opportunity to inspect the cable installation prior to cable removal; (5) the warranty terms and conditions are met. If the cable is found to be deficient per the terms of this warranty, OCC will pay shipping costs for the materials returned and for any replacement materials furnished.

This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed, implied or statutory, and all other obligations or liabilities on the part of OCC. OCC's liability with respect to any material not of OCC's manufacture shall be limited to the liability assumed by the vendor(s) of such material. In no event shall OCC be liable for claims, demands or damages of any nature, however dominated, except that OCC's liability shall be to repair defective items at its factory, supply replacement parts in accordance with the terms of this warranty, or provide a credit, limited to the price of the cable on which a warranty claim is made.
