Most companies have computer equipment, facsimile, monitors, copy machines and/or other expensive equipment that is sensitive to theft during business hours or after closing.

The following information can protect your firm!

• Several years ago, Simon Fraser University was experiencing escalating theft of equipment in broad daylight. This theft was occurring in buildings with standard alarm systems. A request was made by Simon Fraser University for United Power Ltd. to design and install an alarm system that would signal immediately upon any tampering of the actual equipment. Over the years this system has expanded to cover nearly all computer terminals and sensitive equipment in the University.
  
• In desperation, thieves are now attempting to remove the motherboard and the hard drive from the C.P.U. Our system now protects against this added threat.
  
• There is a serious need for hardwiring of valuable equipment in all buildings whether there are standard alarm systems or not.

Sophisticated expanded profection!

• Expanded systems available include automatic door closing and locking devices activated by the alarm and remote video cameras.
  
• Security can be contacted immediately by the alarm panel through remote pagers which will indicate which terminal in which room is being tampered with, printers keep a paper diary of all systems when normal or in alarm.

Cost effective integrated installation procedures!

• The specifically designed equipment (the Santis interface, amp and sensor), can be integrated into the standard wiring system, thereby keeping the costs at a minimum.
  
• This system is cost effective. We expect that with continued education, Santis Systems may be specified in new building construction and will result in lower premiums for theft insurance.
  
• The Santis System has proven its value in several colleges in British Columbia.
